Seeing the way God uses color in his creation inspires my art and gives me a clearer view of His love for me and you. I'm inspired by the sparks of emotion I feel when I see color, and I hope you feel those sparks when you view my work.

Unto Us A Savior Is Born!

Have a Merry Christmas, my friends! Sending a virtual Christmas card to each and every one of you-- my fabulous readers and friends!

Chris has duty on Christmas Eve, which means he has to stay on the ship all day and overnight. But we're going to make the best of it and have a traditional Christmas Eve Chinese food dinner onboard with the other guys on duty ( and maybe a rousing game or two of Bananagrams!) I'm actually looking forward to that!

Then, when he gets home on Christmas morning (I think I'll stay in bed and pretend he never was gone!), we'll have our cinnamon buns and orange juice while unwrapping presents and skyping with family. Followed by our two- year- in- a- row tradition of heading out to hit the surf and then having other loners here on the island over for dinner!

What are your holiday plans?

I pray that amidst the torn wrapping paper, the hustle and bustle of visiting family and friends, or perhaps even in your loneliness, you will uncover the reason for the season-- the hope and joyous celebration of a Savior for our fallen world!

"And the angel said to them, Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior who is Christ the Lord!" (Luke 2:11)

Mele Kalikimaka, friends!
